※ Visit Seoul's Hot Places (All-Day Tour)
Today's tour will take you through Seoul's Fortress Wall Trail, Gwangjang Market, Bukchon Hanok Village, and finally a stroll through a café street.
First, the Seoul Hanyang City Wall is an approximately 18.2 km long fortress wall built during the Joseon Dynasty to protect the capital, Hanyang, from foreign invasions by connecting the surrounding mountains. Today, you can enjoy panoramic views of Seoul as you walk along the wall. We will visit Naksan Park, a 2.1 km section of the trail that connects Daehangno to Dongdaemun.
Second, after completing the Fortress Wall tour, we will arrive at Dongdaemun and head to Gwangjang Market, which is not far from there. Gwangjang Market is a place where you can experience the everyday lives of ordinary Koreans, with a variety of food and sights to see, making it very popular among tourists. We will explore the market and have lunch here.
Third, we will move to Bukchon Hanok Village. Located in Seoul, Bukchon Hanok Village is an area filled with traditional Korean houses, or "hanok." It has been home to the upper class since the Joseon Dynasty, and many of the hanoks are well-preserved, offering visitors a chance to experience traditional Korean culture. Since this is still a residential area where people live, we will walk quietly.
Fourth, we will head to Ikseon-dong Café Street. This street, recently popular among the younger generation, features beautiful cafés and shops that have been remodeled from restored old hanoks. We will conclude today's tour by enjoying a relaxing cup of tea here.
