Travel Info

✅ Brief Introduction to Kyrgyzstan
● Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country in Central Asia, with about 90% of its land covered by mountains. The Tien Shan Mountains cross the country, featuring snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and vast steppes. In summer, meadows bloom with wildflowers, and visitors can experience traditional yurt life, nomadic culture, and breathtaking natural landscapes.
▒ Bishkek: The capital of Kyrgyzstan and the political, economic, and cultural center. Surrounded by the Tien Shan Mountains, it is a pleasant city with spacious parks and tree-lined streets, earning the nickname “Garden City of Central Asia.” Visitors can enjoy both relaxation and exploration.
▒ Alakcha National Park: A national park preserving beautiful nature and rich ecosystems in Kyrgyzstan.
▒ Issyk-Kul Lake: The second largest high-altitude lake in the world, located in eastern Kyrgyzstan. Its name means “hot lake” because it does not freeze in winter. Clear turquoise water and surrounding mountains make it a stunning natural site.
▒ Burana Tower: An ancient minaret built during the 11th-century Karakhanid dynasty, located in the Chuy Valley. Visitors can climb the tower for panoramic views of the plains and mountains.
▒ Zeti-Ogus / Zeti-Oguz: A valley near Issyk-Kul Lake with dramatic red cliffs and rock formations, also called “Red Rock Gorge,” ideal for hiking and trekking.
▒ Barskoon Waterfall: Located in the Barskoon Valley southeast of Issyk-Kul Lake, surrounded by forests, mountains, and clear streams. Two waterfalls nearby can be visited together.
▒ Fairy Tale Valley: A valley near Issyk-Kul Lake with unique rock formations resembling a scene from a fairy tale, offering a mystical atmosphere and otherworldly experience.
▒ Altyn-Arashan: A high-altitude hot spring village near Issyk-Kul Lake in the Tien Shan, known as the “Golden Spa,” with clear valleys, snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and natural hot springs.
▒ Alakol Lake: A high-altitude lake in the Tien Shan, 3,400 meters above sea level, with greenish-blue water and surrounding snow-capped peaks. The steep climb is challenging but provides an unforgettable experience.
▒ Alakol Pass: A mountain pass in the Tien Shan connecting Alakol Lake and surrounding valleys, located around 3,500–3,900 meters above sea level, with majestic peaks, snowy landscapes, and alpine meadows.
