Issyk-Kul is 182 km wide, 60 km long, and has a depth of 668 meters. With its long history and vast size, the lake is associated with numerous legends, creating a wealth of stories. The surrounding area offers various attractions, such as Altyn Arashan, the Fairy Tale Canyon, Jeti-Ögüz, and Barskoon, each with its unique landscape characteristics.
Charyn Canyon is located along the Sharyn (Charyn) River in Kazakhstan. The canyon is about 200 km east of Almaty and is situated near the Kazakhstan-China border. It is characterized by various landforms created by the weathering of sedimentary rocks. Over time, erosion caused by water and wind has shaped the canyon into colorful rock formations resembling sculptures.
